The grid didn’t line up with my chart

Open the pattern and choose Calibrate. Drag the green corner handles so the grid sits exactly on your chart, then tap a cell to test the fit. Auto-detect is a starting point — you can always position the grid by hand.

Which patterns work?

Modern vector pattern PDFs work best (the grid + symbols + DMC legend auto-detect). You can also import a photo or scan of a chart and drag the grid to fit. Please import only patterns you’ve purchased or are licensed to use.

How does sync work? Will I lose my progress?

Your patterns and stitches sync through your own private iCloud (no account to create). Marks merge per-stitch rather than overwriting, so edits from two devices combine — even offline. Sync relies on your iCloud and Apple’s CloudKit and is provided as-is; we can’t guarantee it is uninterrupted or error-free, but it’s built to never overwrite your work with older data.

Floss colors look slightly different from my thread

DMC colors shown in the app are on-screen approximations for reference — always match to a physical DMC shade card before buying. Stitchwork is not affiliated with or endorsed by DMC.

How do I restore my purchase?

Settings → Restore Purchases. The one-time unlock is tied to your Apple Account.
